We’re glad you found us! Welcome to Horse -n- Bear Ranch, now located in the picturesque town of Fort Blackmore, Virginia. Our new homestead, that we are renovating (see our YouTube channel for updates! @horse-n-bear ) offers a fresh start closer to our family. Our farm is surrounded by the stunning beauty of the Appalachian Mountains, which is home! You can learn more about our journey and what we do on our About Us page. Follow along with us as we discuss Sustainable Farming and Herbal Remedies in Virginia.
In a nutshell, for Sustainable Farming we utilize principles of Permaculture along with RBTI to raise and grow our produce and livestock without detriment to our environment, while producing the healthiest plants and animals possible. Why? For the health and well-being of all of us on this beautiful planet. We have been in the healing arts for many, many years as traditional naturopaths, master herbalists, and wellness coaches. We completely understand that what goes into something determines what comes out of it. Our mission is simple… We care about you, our animals, and the planet we all live on, so we do our best to be good stewards 🙂
While our main focus has always been Herbal Remedies and providing what we produce on our farm, we also offer handmade leather items, paper-crafts, and other artwork. See our website Implicate Spirit for additional information these crafts.
As we have been for the past 25 years, we are Independent Consultants for Nature’s Sunshine Products. These products have literally saved lives in our family. We can help you benefit from these high-quality products as well! And as always, individual herbs can be learned about and purchased through The Herb Peddler. We not only have a great selection of herbs and salves, we also have handmade soap! We are proud to offer the best ingredients including our own goats’ milk!
As mentioned we’ve started a YouTube channel to document our adventures and experiences on our new homestead.
